The DPV-70 antenna consists of three vertically polarized, omnidirectional, dipole antenna elements in a common filament-wound fiberglass radome assembly. The two VHF sections cover the frequency range of 116 to 150 MHz and the UHF section covers the 225 to 400 MHz frequency range. The antenna is configured with VHF as the bottom element, a UHF antenna as the middle element, and a second VHF antenna element in a removable top section. The antenna is designed for ground-to-air communication and use in an extreme environment. It is provided with an off set base for mounting on a 3 inch OD pipe.
