LP-102
30-88 MHz Tactical

Applications:
The LP-102 is a tactical antenna suitable for ground-to-air or ground-to-ground communications over the 30-88 Mhz band. The 1500 watt average and peak power rating also makes it suitable for directive jamming.
Features:
The antenna weights 36 pounds, has no loosed parts and requires no tools for assembly. The radiating elements and all hardware are captivated to the support/feed boom. Knobs are used to hold the elements in their operational positions as well as their stored positions. The boom separates into two halves and the elements fold with a maximum storage length of 93 inches and store in a durable bag that is 8.5 inches square in cross section. The antenna may be used in either vertical or horizontal polarization positions, however if it is used vertically polarized, the support mast must have the upper 8 feet isolated. Corrosion resistant materials are used throughout and there are no exposed dissimilar metal joints. All threaded fasteners are black oxide finished and the balance of the antenna is painted with 383 green CARC paint.
Characteristics:
The antenna operates over the frequency range of 30-88 Mhz, with an input impedance of 50 ohms and a VSWR of 2.0:1 or less. The average gain is 7.5 dBi and the power handling capability is 1500 watts average or peak. The deployed length is 184 inches. The RF input connector is a type SC jack.
